This collection is hand carved from tagua, the seed of the tagua palm tree that grows in the South American rainforest. A beautiful natural and sustainable alternative to plastic, tagua’s commercial value also helps to stop deforestation in the places where it grows. Made by artisan makers from the Cerro Grande Community in a coastal region of Ecuador.

With gold plated 15cm chain, with 3cm extension.

Dimensions: approx 1.5 cm

Packaging: Packed on a Just Trade tent card in a biodegradable cello bag.

Care Instructions:
Tagua may darken slightly over time, this is normal. It can be buffed up with a soft white cotton cloth. Although hardwearing, if dropped on a hard surface tagua could break. Never immerse tagua in water as this can cause it to crack.
